Who we are
I am first and foremost a basketball mom — a supporter, cheerleader, spectator, coach, coordinator, fan, and above all else, a planner. Over the years, I have learned how to turn ideas into reality through careful organization, persistence, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.
Living in Florence, I have seen firsthand the gaps that exist for student-athletes who want more opportunities to grow beyond recreational play. My passion is creating spaces where young athletes can show up, work hard, learn, and steadily improve — not only in their basketball skills, but in their confidence, resilience, and belief in themselves.
Coastal Elite Basketball Club was built from that vision: to provide structured, positive, and development-focused training that helps athletes reach their potential while fostering a lifelong love for the game. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a young player discover what they are capable of and carry that confidence into every part of their life.
If you’re looking for a program where your child will be challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow, Coastal Elite Club may be the right fit for your family. This program is not designed or established to compete with existing programs; this Club is designed to supplement and partner, build alliance with the primary focus and emphasis on the Florence Youth and future Siuslaw Basketball Highschool Student Athletes.

FLORENCE NEEDS A SPORTS FACILITY TO HOUSE ALL OF OUR ATHLETES, PROGRAMS, TEAMS AND to create new programs to support the health and well being of Florence, Oregon
Alright, here’s what happened. In building the basketball club, understanding and realizing that the gym space is SO limited. You are constantly competing with all of the other great activities going on. There is SIMPLY, not enough space. WHILE THERE SHOULD BE. We are a big enough ACTIVE community that DESERVES a recreational facility. With my background and experience, this is my goal. Not only to support the basketball club and all of our needs - but every other program needing the space without having to compete with the weather or other teams and activities.
Below; you will find information about this project. IF you would like, please sign the petition of support. This will be data used in grant applications and proposals.
